Our retreat programs enable families who are experiencing serious illness or crisis to regain strength, mend spirits and just be families and kids again.
Brooks Rehab December 4-7, 2008
Deliver the Dream celebrated 70 wonderful retreats this past weekend at Westgate River Ranch in Lake Wales, Florida with Brooks, from Jacksonville, to bring 11 families who have experienced a traumatic brain injury on this truly exceptional retreat weekend. Families got to ride horses, see alligators on an airboat ride, feed baby goats, make tie dye tee’s and steal the grand prize at BINGO! And as if that wasn’t enough, all the families got to see a real live rodeo! One of our kids even won a prize in the calf scramble!! The retreat was the perfect opportunity for everyone- families, volunteers and staff to just relax and be families and kids again!
