Volunteer Information
Volunteers are truly the backbone of the Deliver the Dream Retreat Program and are greatly appreciated. Deliver the Dream relies on volunteers to assist with all aspects of implementing our Retreat Program as well as with fundraising events and numerous administrative tasks. Becoming a Deliver the Dream Volunteer and gaining the opportunity to help families going through difficult times in a meaningful way can be a wonderfully rewarding experience. Many volunteers are impacted in a positive and profound way that forevermore enhances their perspective on life. Deliver the Dream has three types of volunteer opportunities:

When one person is ill, whether that person is a child or an adult, the entire family is impacted. Although there are hundreds of special needs camps in the United States serving children with serious illness, there is a huge deficit in programs that address the needs of the entire family unit.
Deliver the Dream is dedicated to the mission of helping families experiencing an illness such as Sickle Cell, Cancer, Cerebral Palsy and Autism. Through each four-day, three-night retreat, Deliver the Dream provides families the opportunity to escape the overwhelming stress of a serious illness, find time to reunite, enjoy recreational activities, and gain support from others who are coping with similar situations.
