Our retreat programs enable families who are experiencing serious illness or crisis to regain strength, mend spirits and just be families and kids again.
January 15-18, 2009
The Mailman Center for Child Development and Deliver the Dream paired up for the 71st retreat weekend at Westgate River Ranch in Lake Wales, Florida. Families who have a child with a facial cranial concern were brought together from all over South Florida and had a yee-hawin’ good time at the dude ranch! Families rode horses and airboats, took their best shot at a bull’s-eye in archery, saw the famous rodeo, scaled the rockwall, brought out their creative sides in Artworld and tie dye, danced the night away at the kids party, and still left rejuvenated and relaxed from their retreat experience! We know these friendships will last a lifetime!
