June 5 Bowling Tournament Release

Deliver the Dream’s 1^st annual Bragging Rights Bowling Tournament is a “Perfect Game”

Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. – Deliver the Dream, a South Florida-based charity that helps families experiencing a serious illness or crisis kicked off its 1^st annual Bowling Tournament with plenty of strikes, spares and fun.

Hosted at the Manor Lanes Bowling Center on Saturday, June 5, the tournament raised funds for Deliver the Dream’s Family Retreat program that helps families living with illnesses such as HIV/AIDS, Autism, Cancer and Cerebral Palsy. Participants received a tournament shirt, 3 hours of bowling, drink tickets and a delicious lunch donated by Jet’s Pizza. Bowlers were also quizzed with bowling trivia and competed in strike competitions for chances to win a variety of prizes.  Additionally, Deliver the Dream partnered with Emerge Broward, a young professionals organization, which provided the much needed volunteers for the day.

Tournament sponsors included Principal Financial Group, Crowe Horwath, Bass Underwriters, ZeeZone, Our Child Safe, Rothe’s Auto Repair, Granite Transformations and AirMD.
